Was working on learning to make the cut outs that you see as squares in this border. When using Adobe Photoshop CS, you use the eraser and set the eraser with spacing of about 300. However, I usually use Adobe Photoshop Elements (currently upgraded from 12 to the 2018 version), and setting the eraser is a bit different but can be done. Always fun to learn something new for my graphics, and YouTube is wonderful for tutorials.
Making the film strip was fun to do also. It is done the same way using a square eraser or square brush. I followed the YouTube tutorial below to make a film strip:
We are still having winter...bummer. I know, we still have a few more months so I'm not looking forward to February or March weather at all. Can you believe we just started the New Year of 2018, and already only one more day and January has run its course for this year. So far, it has not been too bad. It wasn't too eventful. A doctor visit, bills paid (yay-that's always a plus), I was needed to babysit two of the grandbabykins so had a sleep over at one's house so I could get him on the bus the next morning while his mom was at work, and the other was at a hotel while her parents had a bit of time out. She and I spent some time in the pool, then a movie and snack time. I enjoyed getting out of the house so for me that was like a really mini-mini vacation. haha
Snow covered Tree:
Tonight it is snowing and the wind is howling. We aren't suppose to get that much accumulation so hoping not like week before last when the wind drifted the snow around and we couldn't plow out of the driveway for a couple of days.
